About us

We are hiring a Digital Project Manager that is the glue that holds our direct-to-consumer business together and gets a high-quality project completed on time and on budget.  Reporting to the Head of DTC and Consumer Experience, with a dotted line into the Marketing Operations team, you will help us streamline workflows, develop best-in-class processes, and execute projects effectively from start to finish.

Your mission

As the all-knowing, omnipresent "control center" - centralizing communication, connecting dots, and liaising between the DTC team and its various stakeholders, you will bring together commerce and content at an exciting time for the business. Our DTC business is planned to grow 3X in the next three years and evolve from independent websites (maxicosi.com and safety1st.com) to a multi-brand tabbed site experience. The new site will be easy – personalized for parents and caregivers and make them feel understood and confident in their brand selection and purchasing decisions. Along with this, we’ll infinitely expand our content and improve our consumer experience, from ease of comparing products online, to assisting parents install and assemble our products with live video consultation. You will be at the forefront of this innovation and evolution, helping guide, deliver, ensure our accuracy.  

Key responsibilities

  • Project Management: Organize and facilitate the on-time and on budget delivery of projects. Keep internal projects moving and oversee a multitude of complicated tasks simultaneously.
  • Operational Skills: Solve problems, shift focus, and pivot with ease based on workload and business priorities. Using impeccable organization, keep detailed project plans up-to-date and accurately report on the status of consumer care, creative, & D2C projects. You will be the go-to Project Manager ensuring stakeholder requests and projects are executed on time, in budget, and on brand across .com and consumer care.
  • Stakeholder Management: You will be the overseer, ensuring stakeholders properly outline requests to ensure clarity of project purpose (why) and strategy (how) and ensuring that deliverables meet all outlined goals. Routinely report project status and seek out project sponsor action when needed
  • Resource Planning: Proactively build timelines, analyze cross functional resource needs, delegate work based on bandwidth. Work with leadership, consultants, and key stakeholders to define cross-team milestones and deadlines to improve consumer experience.
  • Production & Execution: Understand production and support in all asset creation (photo, video, animation, copy) - working closely with designers, copywriters, and developers as needed. Tap various vendors and oversee UX, design, development and more leveraging PM tools like JIRA and a future CMS. 
  • Internal Communication: Guide teams on best practices by utilizing your expertise in internal communication, collaboration, and project management. Gather key information and understand the overall direction of each request. Always prepared and nimble, work cross-functionally to articulate updates, action items, deadlines.
  • Business Improvement: Help Dorel Juvenile achieve the best possible output. Consistently forecast, monitor, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and lower cost.

Your profile

  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience project managing in-house creative teams and / or agency creative teams. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Background in a combination of digital product management, agency/account management, production, operations, client services. 
  • Expertise with website development, site integration, CMS Management. Familiarity and use of JIRA required.  
  • Strong attention to detail and proven track record managing multiple big projects at once. 
  • Understanding of performance marketing channels: email, UI/UX site design, acquisition, and retention. Familiarity with Magento, Ziflow, and Klaviyo a plus!  
  • Understanding and ability to participate in Agile development sprints. 
  • Proven track record implementing and maintaining processes & software, managing high volume creative and ecommerce assets. 
  • Experience with go-to-market campaigns, product launches, and consumer care a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PPT and Excel required. Use of Microsoft Teams to conduct and organize business and Bynder (DAM) a plus.
