Your mission

Within this role, you will support the Head of Finance in accurate and timely financial reporting. 

 

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Full accounting functions and reporting for our NZ subsidiary
  • Support the Accountant with the consolidation of the Group P&L and balance sheet for financial reporting purposes.
  • Assisting with supporting the wider finance team • Prepare financial reports for the global finance teams
  • Consolidate budget and forecast submissions.
  • Work with Finance team to ensure that Group accounting policies are adhered to.
  • Liaise with external auditors to produce consolidated and individual company financial statements and support the Head of Finance to ensure that Group financial control framework is implemented in the businesses.
  • Implement and monitor procedures of review and areas for continuous improvement. • Provide key input into the quarterly reporting procedures, particularly around the detailed analysis of each financial report.
  • Reconcile online website payments and receipts

 

Your profile

The Successful Applicant

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience with strong financial accounting knowledge
  • Able to demonstrate proven experience at a similar level within a financial environment
  • A committed and valued team player
  • Strong analytical skills and strong Excel skills 
  • Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
  • Have the ability to approach technical problems in a thorough and logical manner
  • Have good communication, presentation skills and highly self-motivated
