Join our European Trade Marketing Team as a Marketeer and take charge of boosting our sell-out with local Trade Marketing initiatives and grow together with the world’s biggest juvenile goods manufacturer. 

Your mission

As a Marketeer, it is your mission to support the local Trade Marketing team in the execution and implementation of our European Trade Marketing strategy. In this role you will work with a dynamic and enthusiastic team and report directly into Lauren van Schijndel, Trade Marketing Manager BeneLux and Scandinavia and will be part of the broader Sales team.  

Key responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for supporting our Trade Marketing projects, including consumer and trade shows, development of local POS tools and much more. 
  • You make sure everything is rolled out with an omni-channel approach. 
  • You will assist the sales team with information and insights such as market research, competitor analysis and other Trade related KPI’s and join them on site visits where possible. 
  • Support the team with handling administrative tasks related to Trade Marketing projects (internal and external communication, translation and localization of Trade Marketing assets provided by the EU Trade Marketing team, catalogues, etc.). 
  • Assist initiatives to maximize our in-store performance and boost sell-out for retailers (POS material, location in store, portfolio) by cooperating with our sales teams and linking with our customers. 
  • Help secure a flow of market information and feedback from the sales organizations, retailers, and consumers as contribution to development of EU tools and plans of attack. 
  • Contribute to the measuring of activities effectiveness and report interpreted data back to sales and EU competence center to optimize consumer centricity, commercial performance, and lead generation. 

Your profile

  • Entrepreneurial, confident with drive and lots of energy and a commercial mindset.  
  • Strong affinity with sales and e-commerce as well as translating data into actionable insights.   
  • You poses good project management skills and are ready to get things done in a continuously changing environment. You thrive doing multiple tasks at the same time without losing attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. You have an affinity with copywriting and editing.  
  • Flexible work mentality around retailer events and fairs with occasional availability in weekend or evening hours.  
  • Willing and able to help with building up decor and shop-in-shops for events and fairs. 
  • Proactive in understanding our new customer base (gen Z) and implementing insights into our Trade strategy.   

What we offer

  • A salary of minimum 2500 based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow. 
  • This is a position for 32-40 hours per week. 
  • You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month. 
  • You are eligible for a 13th month every year. 
  • The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with 2 joint office days.  
  • The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.  
  • Extensive retirement plan. 
  • Other terms include travel expenses, the option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance. 
  • Besides work there is time for fun such as team outings or our Workout on Wheels bootcamp every Tuesday.
