Dorel Industries Juvenile Division is looking for someone to join our eCommerce business as part of our Sales team and help drive Omni growth strategy for the U.S. This is a catalyst role responsible for driving growth and profit for key accounts.

Your mission

The Omni Content & Syndication Specialist will have a passion for eCommerce, be a great problem solver, and successfully interface with key cross-functional teams across the company. This role must be able to successfully balance creative thinking with analytical know-how to drive results.

Key responsibilities

This role is responsible for closely monitoring and maintaining the day-to-day operations of DJG US’s Omni retail presence. The Omni Content & Syndication Specialist will spend most of their days focused on product detail page content & assets, item setups, content health auditing, assortment management, and site operational issue management. Ultimately, this role will be responsible for delivering a compelling consumer experience across Dorel Juvenile’s product detail pages.

 

Candidates must be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Successful individuals will possess a proven track record of leading change, anticipating challenges, and providing solutions that add value. This position will report directly to the Director of Omni-Retail Site Experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day product detail page maintenance: drive digital shelf improvements, leading efforts for continual optimizations to maximize eCommerce conversion
  • Communicate potential site issues and challenges impacting sales or requiring adjustment of procedures to maximize potential. Requires analysis of the site from a customer’s perspective.
  • Own new item setup and collaborate with merchandising teams to assure that setup is completed on-time, optimized, and without error.
  • Monitor and maintain active product assortment to ensure all items are properly audited on on-going basis.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Product Marketing teams to ensure all GTM assets are delivered on-time and aligned with launch plans for seamless item setup and syndication across all digital channels.
  • Maintain retailer-specific data maps & documentation to ensure accurate mapping of product attribution to retail channel templates
  • Quarterly review of current site technologies, procedures, and 3rd party vendor capabilities, future site changes, and industry trends.

Your profile

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • 2+ Years of detailed eCommerce experience preferred; must be digitally savvy
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple different teams of cross-functional partners
  • Enjoys working with a team, as well as independently with a bias towards action (entrepreneurial self-starter)
  • Advanced Microsoft Access, Excel, & presentation skills
  • Familiarity with content syndication ecosystems (e.g., Salsify) and experience troubleshooting asset publishing errors
  • Ability to quickly learn new data systems, methodologies, and data visualization software
  • Strong understanding of product attribution models across retailers and how these drive search, browse, and conversion.
  • Balance of left brain (quantitative analysis, data-driven) & right brain (creativity, out-of-the box thinking)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
  • Must have a track record of prioritizing and successfully delivering multiple initiatives on-time
