The Technical Publications manager will oversee the development of instruction manuals and labels for North America (US and Canada) of 5 product categories across multiple brands. In coordination with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the instruction manuals and labels are compliant under NHSTA, Transport Canada, & JPMA, meets internal standards, are user-friendly, and cost effective. This role will manage all aspects of the design and production of graphic art and visual materials for print; from concept to artwork release. You’ll contribute to page layout, technical writing, and technical illustration and work alongside graphic designers in creating deliverables. You are responsible for developing process documentation, guidelines, and standards to create efficient workflow for Technical Publications and cross-functional teams. You will ensure programs are in place to teach designers the tools and skills required to produce consistent content as well as programs for cross-functional teams to utilize during reviews. Due to the current pandemic, this position is now open for a work from home arrangement. Due to business conditions, this strategy and flexible work arrangement may change. This role is needed to work Monday-Friday with typical business hours between 8am – 5pm.Key responsibilities

• MS in Instructional Design preferred; BS in Graphic Design or 5 years’ experience in the related field.
• 1 – 3 years supervisory experience. Interpersonal Skills/Competencies • Understands Mac and PC environments
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
• Exceptional organization skills
