Junior Field Marketeer DACH

We are looking for a Junior Field Marketeer DACH to strengthen and support our Trade Marketing team based in Cologne. With this team you will support all local and EU Trade Marketing initiatives and activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Together with the Trade Marketing Team DACH, you will optimize all aspects of our in-store performance to maximize sell-out at our retailers and e-tailers. Implement local plans and measure the impact of POS. Next to in-store priorities, you will also focus on the online part of Trade Marketing.
The Trade Marketing team has the following focus areas: assisting in translating the EU brand strategy into local market activities and optimize in-store performance through initiatives such as POS material, strategic store placement, and collaboration with sales teams. As well as challenging internal sales partners to enhance our reach and impact in the short and long term, both online and offline. Additionally, creating annual commercial plans with key accounts to promote our portfolio and upcoming product launches. We also secure market information and feedback from sales organizations, retailers, and consumers to contribute to the development of EU tools and attack plans. Finally, we measure activity effectiveness and provide reports to optimize consumer-centricity, commercial performance, and lead generation.
Your mission
Together with the Trade Marketing Team DACH, you will optimize all aspects of our in-store performance to maximize sell-out at our retailers and e-tailers. Implement local plans and measure the impact of POS. Next to in-store priorities, you will also focus on the online part of Trade Marketing.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales team, our customers and will report to Tonia Nelskamp, Senior Trade Marketeer DACH. This position is initially open for 9 months, covering for a maternity leave.
Key responsibilities
- You will be responsible for supporting our Trade Marketing projects.
- You will assist the sales team with information and insights and join them on site visits where possible.
- Support at various trade fairs such as the Kind & Jugend fair in Cologne.
- Support in the digital Trade Marketing field (influencer screening, proactively looking for cooperation opportunities, market research, keeping an eye on our competitors in the market).
- You take on administrative tasks related to the Trade Marketing projects (contact retailers, internal and external communication, translation and localisation of Trade Marketing assets provided by the global Trade Marketing team, catalogue screening, etc.).
- You are an overall supportive force in the team and are able to work independently. We value good project management skills, a drive to excel and being eager to learn.
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in BWL, Commercial Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related study.
- You are a fresh graduate or have some years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- You live close to our Cologne office and are available for 32 to 40 hours a week. Preferably starting in September/ October.
- You are speaking and writing native German, you are also able to communicate in business English.
- You are hands-on, eager to learn, pro-active and a self-starter.
What we offer

- The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with 2 joint office days.
