Your mission

We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) team at Dorel Juvenile. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating agile practices within a team focused on delivering data-driven insights and analytics solutions. You will work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project completion in a dynamic and evolving data landscape.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) tailored to the BI&A team’s needs.
  • Collaborate with BI&A team members to refine backlogs, define sprint goals, and ensure prioritization aligns with business objectives.
  • Promote agile methodologies and foster an environment of continuous improvement in data analysis and reporting practices.
  • Address and remove impediments specific to data projects, ensuring the smooth flow of information and resources.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration within the BI&A team and with external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on team progress using data-centric agile metrics and KPIs.
  • Champion a data-driven culture and support the integration of BI tools and practices in the agile process.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a focus on BI&A or data-related projects.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with an ability to convey complex data concepts.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, tailored to a data-centric environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework, especially as applied to BI&A.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) and data warehousing technologies.
  • Background in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
