Your mission

As Buyer NPR you are responsible for the translation of our business needs to optimal purchased services and goods. You do this in collaboration with our NPR Procurement-team, consisting of an NPR Buyer and a Procurement Coordinator.

In close collaboration with your internal customers, you source, select and contract suppliers in a wide portfolio. For assigned NPR categories you develop strategic plans to explore savings opportunities and to risk managing. Your buying expertise is recognized and enables you to take the lead in projects from a Procurement perspective. With your flexible mindset you are willing and eager to adapt your scope and deliver support in a changing environment.

This role focusses on marketing (in its broadest spectrum) and related departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Negotiate and maintain contracts, prices, delivery terms, and other relevant conditions.
  • Supplier relation & performance management for NPR suppliers.
  • Signal and mitigate risks for assigned NPR-categories.
  • For European NPR projects you initiate and analyze RFP/RFI/RFQ’s.
  • Execution of tenders, benchmarks and negotiations in line with the strategic category plans.
  • Manage Procurement tools like contract management system, N2P tool, ERP.
  • Reporting on KPI’s and added value.
  • To contribute to the department’s operation, you support in administrative tasks and initiate process optimizations.

Your profile

  • Higher (HBO) or academic education.
  • A couple of years experience in Non Product Related purchasing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Analysis and problem-solving competency. Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Affinity with technology.
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.

What we offer

  • A salary between 3500 and 4500 based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
  • This is a position for 32-40 hours per week, depending on your preferences.
  • You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month.
  • You are eligible for a 13th month every year.
  • The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with 2 joint office days.
  • The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
  • Extensive retirement plan.
  • Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone if required, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance.
  • Besides work there is time for fun such as team outings or our Workout on Wheels bootcamp every Tuesday.
