Quality Lab Test Technician
About us
The Quality Lab Test Technician (QLTT) supports product quality and business objectives by performing a variety of testing and documentation activities. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Your mission
This position utilizes a variety of skills to accurately setup testing fixtures, acquire measurements using various forms of instrumentation, and will publish the results in the associated record system.
Key responsibilities
- Setup test fixtures in compliance with applicable SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and WI’s (Work Instructions).
- Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Effective and efficient use of measurement and instrumentation equipment.
- Effective and efficient use of PC based applications.
- Perform Test Facilitator (team lead) role as needed.
- Perform test Technician role as needed.
- Perform various lab systems duties as needed.
- Maintain personal performance goals and progress status.
Your profile
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Leadership skills
- Intermediate skills using MS Office tools- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Intermediate troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver 22 - 70 lb. anatomical dummies and apply tensioning forces up to 15 lbs. (apply child restraints).
- Occasional weekend availability as needed
PREFERRED:
- Advanced Mechanical, troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office tool skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and advance existing skills as required for advancement.
- Proficient in mathematics.
