Your mission

As a Key Account Manager at Dorel Juvenile Europe, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding relationships with our most significant clients. Your focus will be on driving business growth, promoting customer satisfaction, and ensuring long-term success for both parties. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.

You will take care about Italian market and be based at our Italian HQ near Bergamo.

Key responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and acting as the main point of contact for any inquiries or issues.
  • Account Strategy Development: Collaborating with various departments to create tailored strategies for each key account, aligning with the client's goals and objectives while maximizing business opportunities.
  • Revenue Growth: Driving revenue growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within key accounts, as well as negotiating contracts and pricing structures to maximize profitability.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and consistently delivering on promises.
  • Market Analysis: Staying informed about juvenile industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential threats and opportunities for growth.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring key account performance metrics, such as sales targets, customer retention rates, and profitability, and taking proactive measures to address any deviations from targets.
  • Communication and Reporting: Providing regular updates on key account status, including progress against goals, challenges faced, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Problem Resolution: Acting as a mediator in resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise between Dorel Juvenile Europe and key clients, ensuring a premium service.

Your profile

  • Degree in Marketing, Sales or similar;
  • Previous experience in sales, account management or customer relations in a business environment, preferably in a management or supervisory role;
  • Knowledge of our childcare and children's markets, including trends, competition, and sector-specific challenges;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate the company’s value propositions and solve problems effectively clearly and persuasively;
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts, prices, and conditions with clients, seeking to maximize profitability and client satisfaction;
  • Strong focus on meeting objectives and results, capable of developing effective strategies to boost sales growth and the profitability of key accounts;
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and priorities, ensuring that efforts are aligned with our strategy and objectives;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Environment and other relevant software applications (mandatory);
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
