Under the Dorel Juvenile flag, we make universally loved products for our Maxi-Cosi, Bebeconfort and TinyLove brands. Every year, we bring more than 20 products to the European market for Maxi-Cosi, equipped with innovation, convenience and comfort. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Designer. Someone with a passion for typography, colour and building balance in designs. Clean & cutting edge. Where communication, design and brand experience come together. You are a true all-rounder: an idea generator for creative campaigns, an expert in print and you have knowledge of omni-channel marketing for consumers and B2B.

Your mission

As an experienced Graphic Designer, you’ll transform briefs and build on them to create compelling visual concepts and designs. You’ll collaborate with other creative professionals to bring your vision to life. As part of our growing internal creative team, you will be working with both agencies and internal colleagues specialized in graphic design, copywriting and multimedia.

Balancing creativity with the overarching brand message to achieve the goal of creating more brand awareness, to ultimately sell more products. You’ll have the opportunity to put forward ideas and help shape the evolving creative direction of Dorel Juvenile’s global brands, such as Maxi-Cosi and Bebeconfort. This role requires a blend of creative vision, technical skill, and people skills, ensuring that all creative output is impactful and cohesive across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate briefs for product launches and events into diverse creative concepts and assets, including photos, videos, and marketing materials, all aligned with the customer journey.
  • Work on brands such as Maxi-Cosi, Bebeconfort, Safety 1st, and more.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of various media formats such as HTML5, motion design, 3D modeling, and animation to push the creative boundaries of the team in different projects. (Not all necessary, please specify your skills in your motivation letter.)
  • Translate brand guidelines and implement an omnichannel approach to ensure consistency and effective communication across all media types. Open to exploring the growth of the brand.
  • Work closely with the creative team and maintain constant contact with stakeholders like the Brand, Product, Digital, and Trade teams to align creative concepts with shared goals, ensuring a seamless integration of creative ideas across all departments.
  • Develop and elevate our brands’ identities by proposing bold ideas and identifying opportunities for creative storytelling and concept selling.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to gain buy-in for creative concepts and strategies.
  • Guide and mentor designers, pushing them to stretch their creative skill set.

Your profile

  • HBO work/thinking level. You finished a relevant creative education.
  • Proven experience as a designer, or similar.
  • Experience in an international retail environment is a big bonus.
  • Strong and communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Flexible to changing circumstances and project needs. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with high productivity.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Are you ready to grow with us?

  • A salary of 3500 maximum a month, based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
  • This is a position for 32 to 40 hours per week, depending on your preferences.
  • You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month.
  • You are eligible for a 13th month every year.
  • The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with 2 joint office days.
  • The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
  • Extensive retirement plan.
  • Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone if required, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance.
  • Besides work there is time for fun such as team outings.
