As our Account Manager it is your mission to grow sales and penetration of Dorel Juvenile brands (Maxi-Cosi, Bebeconfort and Tiny Love) in Switzerland. Note: We are looking for someone to join the team who is either living on the German side of the Swiss border (Freiburg area or similar), or someone who lives in Switzerland (preferably around Zürich).

Your mission

Your mission is to grow sales and penetration of Dorel Juvenile brands in the region by optimizing the business relationship with existing (key) accounts and realizing the sales targets. You will manage a portfolio of retailers in the Swiss area. Currently we work with16 Accounts and 15 doors for the Baby Walz + Baby One franchise. Whilst this position is home based (on the road), occasional travel will be required to our office in Cologne. You will be part of the DACH team and reporting to the Senior Sales Manager of Germany.

Key responsibilities

  • Realization of execution of account plans, in such a way that (at the least) the turnover targets are realized.
  • Ensure a good and professional relationship with customers, in such a way that customers are and will remain satisfied with Dorel.
  • Maintain or improve numeric and qualitative distribution and potentially expand distribution of our products in a way that ensures sales targets are achieved.
  • Analyzing and reporting the sales results in such a way that it is possible to correct or change the (sales) targets on time for realization.
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of marketing plans for the retailers including training the sales employees on the shop floor and visual merchandising.
  • Independently handle all topics related to the Swiss market, working closely together with the central Sales Administration, (Trade) Marketing, Retailer Care, and After-Sales departments to insure optimal customer relationships.

Your profile

  • You have a couple of years’ working experience in a similar sales role.
  • Sales is part of your DNA: working independently, pro-actively chasing opportunities, able to engage retailers and with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another ERP system is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience, excellent negotiation skills and is a confident presenter.
  • Enjoys and is able to analyze data, in order to provide customers with great service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and good skills in English.

  • A salary of maximum 70K a year based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
  • This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.
  • A company car according to our lease plan.
  • You will receive a permanent contract.
  • You are eligible for our sales bonus plan and a 13th month every year.
  • The annual leave entitlements consist of 27 vacation days (+ pink Monday?!) in the case of full-time employment.
  • Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone and an extensive retirement plan.
