Your mission

As a Postproduction Specialist your main mission is the editing and color grading of our visual assets. You create stunning motion graphics and visual stories that enhance the overall quality and immersion of our photos or videos, resonating with our audiences in their customer journey. You will be visualizing the essence of our products and brands and the emotions they evoke. You will bring raw material to life, capturing emotions, narratives, and artistic visions.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for editing raw footage into a coherent story conveying the intended message, using your knowledge and creative skillset to bring brand guidelines to life.
  • This includes sound editing, proposing music and sfx, synchronizing audio with video, cleaning up any static noises, adding voiceovers and creating sound effects.
  • Expert in color grading, working on motion graphics, animated sequences and other visual effects.
  • Responsible for making all shots to match even if we use different cameras and changing or enhancing the atmosphere as needed, according to the brief.
  • Quality checking the final product for any technical issues that may have arisen during rendering. Also responsible for ingesting footage, making backups and archiving.
  • Challenge and push the status quo, not afraid to try new things and convince the team with your expertise in editing.

General:

  • A proven track record as a creative and technical editor/ postproduction specialist, with experience preferable in a production agency, filmmaking, or advertising company.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating a range of video editing skills and color grading in different styles and contexts.
  • You are a chromakey expert, not afraid of rotoscoping and tracking.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the complete production pipeline, cinematography, and the impact editing decisions have on the final product and their objective.

Creative storyteller and visual aesthetics:

  • Conveying a narrative through visual elements, understanding pacing, rhythm, composition and emotional tone.

Technical and software:

  • Up to date with the lates non-linear editing systems. Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects tools. Understanding codecs, frame rates, and resolutions is crucial to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality outputs.
  • Examples of experience with industry-standard software we are looking for: Adobe Premiere, FCPX, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects or other.
  • If you have knowledge of particle systems, simulations and physics for VFX, use cinema4D, Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Unreal 5 or are familiar with 2D and 3D art creation tools, this would be a bonus.

Attention to Detail:

  • Precise editing requires meticulous attention to detail, be vigilant in spotting and correcting errors. Ensure seamless transitions, consistent color grading, and accurate timing.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work well with others, listen actively, and communicate effectively.

Adaptability and Flexibility:

  • The industry evolves rapidly, open to learning new techniques and adapting to changing trends.

Time Management and Organizational Skills:

  • Deadlines are a constant, you will juggle multiple projects, organize vast amounts of footage, and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules.

What we offer

  • A salary between 55 and 60K a year including a 13th month and holiday pay. Salary is based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
  • This is a fulltime position for 40 hours per week, with the possibility to work from home 1 or 2 days a week, depending on the production phase we are in.
  • You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month.
  • The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
  • Extensive retirement plan.
  • Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone if required, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance.
  • Besides work there is time for fun such as team outings or our Workout on Wheels bootcamp every Tuesday.
