Your mission

It is your mission to ensure the smooth operation of logistics and shipping processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the warehouse operations.

You and three colleagues are responsible for processing all outgoing orders from our Helmond warehouse. These orders are sent directly to retailers and consumers across Europe, as well as intercompany shipments to our other five European warehouses, and export orders.

You oversee the entire shipping process, from order entry to final delivery. This includes creating shipments in our system, contacting carriers, and consulting with internal stakeholders. For export shipments, you work with the customs department to ensure proper documentation. You handle all necessary paperwork, including packing slips and freight documents, and schedule time slots.

If a shipment is delayed, you coordinate with the relevant stakeholders to find creative solutions. You end your day satisfied when all orders are processed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Enter orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and generate shipments.
  • Maintain frequent contact with our Customer Service department, carriers, and colleagues in the warehouse.
  • Verify and manage invoices related to shipments.
  • Oversee all outbound shipments from the Helmond warehouse, including direct shipments for Helmond customers and support for other warehouses.
  • Create loads based on orders, request time slots per customer, and communicate delivery schedules with carriers and coordinate the process.
  • Work with the customs department for export shipments to ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare and manage freight documents, letters, and packing slips.
  • Collaborate with the team to handle all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Oversee the entire shipping process from order entry to final delivery, ensuring all paperwork and time slots are in order.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address and resolve any shipment delays creatively and efficiently.

Your profile

  • Logistics background and experience in an administrative position. (For example: worked as a Customer Service employee in a transportation company.)
  • You know how to deal with stressful situations and are a real team player.
  • Good communication skills in English both verbal and written, any other language such as Dutch or Polish is a plus.
  • Able to start your working day between 8 and 9 in consultation with the team, working from the office.

What we offer

  • A salary between 2900 and 3300 a month based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
  • This is a position for 32-40 hours per week, depending on your preferences. Possible day of on Monday or Thursday.
  • You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month.
  • You are eligible for a 13th month every year.
  • Working from home is only possible as an exception, as you are responsible to coordinate the communication with carriers on site.
  • The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
  • Other terms include travel expenses, extensive retirement plan, use of a laptop and telephone if required, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance.
  • Besides work there is time for fun such as team outings or our Workout on Wheels bootcamp every Tuesday.
