Your mission

We are currently seeking a QLTT for our Columbus, IN location. The QLTT will perform a variety of testing procedures on the products we sell worldwide. This individual must have the ability to read and follow SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), utilize laboratory equipment to perform key diagnostic and quality testing, and effectively communicate testing results. The ideal candidate would have the ability to gain knowledge quickly, apply it to optimize productivity, manage their time effectively, utilize available resources efficiently, and communicate the status of activities clearly.

Key responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to:

  • Set-up and perform a variety of testing procedures including crash testing for car seats.
  • Learn and properly apply child restraints for car seats, strollers, infant carriers, etc.
  • Learn and effectively utilize a variety of testing machinery and hand measurement equipment.
  • Measure and Analyze data to determine compliance to the related requirements.
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude and hand tools to setup a variety of testing fixtures.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access) and oral communication skills to effectively communicate testing results.
  • Utilize organizational skills to manage time efficiently and effectively on individual tasks or as part of a team.

Your profile

  • High school diploma/equivalent 
  • Occasionally lift 70 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs. (maneuver Anatomical Test Dummies).
  • Apply tensioning forces up to 15 lbs. (apply child restraints).
  • Willing to work OT as needed.
  • Willing to work one day on the weekend as part of a split week shift.
