Your mission

The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the laboratory on a day-to-day basis to ensure highest quality of testing services while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. The individual oversees staffs' performance, interactions, and quality of work as well as providing the tools, equipment and training necessary for the test technicians to perform their roles effectively and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT DUTIES:

  • Daily planning and scheduling of lab resources based on resource availability and assigned priorities.
  • Overtime and temporary resource scheduling.
  • Timecards and vacation scheduling.
  • Personnel reviews.
  • Lab preparation for Customer, Investor and Partner tours.
  • Oversight for development of CRS, Product and Component test records.
  • Training / Qualification program.
  • Standard Operating Procedures program.
  • Lab accounting.
  • Raw material acquisition and sourcing.
  • Administration, oversite, and support for Lead Roles:
    • Sled Testing
    • ATD testing and repair
    • Product and Component testing
    • Sled Repair and Preventative Maintenance
    • Lab inventory and warehouse
    • Test equipment certifications, repairs and Preventative Maintenance

INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Sled testing qualification for Side and frontal Impact.
  • Maintain a minimum of one qualification for Component testing.
  • Maintain a minimum of one qualification for Product testing.
  • Coordinate acquisition or development of fixtures required for testing activities.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Teams and Outlook skills
  • Intermediate Database administration skills
  • Intermediate Technical skills
  • Intermediate Analytical and Problem Solving skills
  • Intermediate Training skills

PREFERRED:

  • Advanced Leadership skills
  • Advanced Database development skills
  • Intermediate high-speed video and data collection system skills.
  • Experience with energy Pulse Prediction process
  • Experience with ATD testing, or component testing, or product testing
  • Data Analysis skills (DOE’s, Six Sigma, etc.)
