About us

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Coordinator to support our Walmart sales team. In this role, you'll manage sales reporting, coordinate cross-functional efforts, maintain key documentation, and serve as a liaison with Walmart merchants. Ideal candidates will have experience in sales support, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Walmart systems like Retail Link and Luminate.

Your mission

As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Walmart sales team in achieving organizational goals. You will be responsible for sales reporting and analysis, ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and external clients, and maintaining accurate sales records. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales support and a passion for driving business growth.

 

Key responsibilities

Sales Support: Assist the Walmart sales team with day-to-day operations, including order processing, contract management, MAP issues and customer inquiries.

Coordination: Coordinate with various departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and initiatives.

Data Management: Maintain accurate sales records, track sales performance metrics, and prepare reports for senior management. This will also include maintaining key documents used by the cross-functional team.

Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for Walmart merchants, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.

Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to support sales strategies.

Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, taking notes, and preparing presentations.

Support Strategy Development: Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth.

New Item Creation: Manage the new item creation process for both domestic and DI items for Dorel and our licensee partners.

Project Management: Act as project manager for our licensee partners and their assortments.

Your profile

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail environment, eCommerce preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data
  • Proficiency in Walmart systems including Retail Link and Luminate
