Your mission

As a Community Manager you are responsible for strengthening our relationship with our with (potential) customers, fans and followers on our main social media channels in Europe. You are also contributing to further growth on these channels by increasing our engagement.

Key responsibilities

Community Management


  • Control and monitor interactions of online communities of Dorel Juvenile (Maxi-Cosi) daily
    • Control and monitor all interactions on all channels (focus Instagram & Facebook). This includes mentions, tags, comments and private messages on all of channels. Spark conversations in DM’s, sales focused, problem solving and relationship building.
  • Increase engagement and loyalty of users with quality customer support
    • Impact the engagement by engaging proactively with users of social media platforms.
  • Manage content tool
    • Check social media tool for relevant external content to share or create owned posts
      Share this content with the relevant website and social media teams.
  • Post on our social channels
    • Support posting on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Create social tone of voice guidelines and policy
    • Define the social language and internal policy for customer feedback, questions, and complaints.
  • Social Listening
    • Report on the online conversations of our brands by using social listening tools. Understand what customers talk about, think, and need from our business
  • Trend watching
    • Brainstorm activities, opportunities, and content to inspire or grow community by being up-to-date on the trends on the online platforms.


This is a temporary position until end of the year with a strong intention to extend. 


In this role you work closely with customer care and marketing and report to Jaimy van Dijke, European social media & Influencer Manager.

Your profile

  • Bachelor working and thinking level. Preferable in Communication or similar
  • Experienced in using social media
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability skill
  • Empathic and team player
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus, especially German, French, and Dutch
  • Experience as community manager is a pre, but not necessary
