Safety 1st celebrates 40 years of Firsts
A milestone of fun, exploration, and safety
This year marks a significant milestone for Safety 1st, which for the past 40 years has been a leader in child safety products and a part of family’s lives, through mobility and child safety products like car seats, strollers, and a variety of home safety items.
To celebrate this remarkable anniversary, Safety 1st partnered with CAMP, the Family Experience Company known for immersive events and engaging experiences, to offer families a unique opportunity to participate in the celebration of this milestone.
Free Day of Fun at CAMP Stores with Safety 1st
In honor of the 40th anniversary, Safety 1st treated families to free admission at all CAMP stores across the U.S. this summer. Visitors were invited to step into a world of immersive fun, crafting experiences, and live entertainment. From coast to coast, parents and caregivers had the opportunity to experience Safety 1st’s brand evolution firsthand, while their children enjoyed unforgettable activities and shows.
The partnership between Safety 1st and CAMP emphasized the brand’s refreshed identity, positioning safety as the foundation of joyful exploration for children. By turning "no zones" into "go zones," Safety 1st aims to support families through every milestone, from a baby’s first car ride to their first steps.
Immersive Shows and Craft Parties
The anniversary celebration featured two types of events: immersive show parties and craft parties, each tailored to create a memorable experience for families.
Show Parties: Guests entered CAMP’s signature Magic Door for an exciting movie show experience. Locations such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington D.C. showcased popular family-friendly movies like Trolls, Bluey, and Encanto, transporting children into a world of animation and adventure.
Craft Parties: Families enjoyed interactive craft parties, where children engaged in slime making, face painting, and more, guided by CAMP’s energetic counsellors, in cities like Boston, Atlanta, and Dallas. Live entertainment and balloon artistry added to the fun, creating an atmosphere of creativity and joy.
Exclusive Giveaways
Attendees walked away with more than just memories. All participants received custom Safety 1st gift bags, filled with items such as CAMP’s signature squishy toy, bubbles, a sweet treat, and the iconic Safety 1st Baby On Board sign. Additionally, families had the chance to win $500 worth of Safety 1st products and a $200 CAMP gift card through a special Giveaway.
Exploring Safety 1st’s Innovative Products
Throughout the event, Safety 1st products were available at all CAMP locations, highlighting the brand’s latest offerings. From the Summit Wagon Stroller and Turn & Go Car Seat to safety essentials like the Secure-to-Explore Adhesive Locks and Boost & Go Booster Car Seat, parents were able to explore innovative child safety solutions that fit seamlessly into modern family life.
